Are Daughters Advocating for Restoration still renewing their DAR membership? Am debating renewing my membership as I do not want to pledge to obey the DAR laws, yet I don’t want to be put in an unfavorable standing with them in case there is hope in the future for change.
I resigned from NSDAR after 45 years and was sad but proud to do so. My ancestors would have tho0ught less of me had I not stood up for my principles. Has there been any discussion of a new organization honoring our Revolutionary ancestors but not giving in to the mod crowd? If so, I want to be the first member. I am so proud of the TX for leading this fight and the eight Chapters who have endorsed its efforts. I am from Alabama and I noticed that one Alabama chapter had endorsed the TX resolution.; may I ask which chapter? I would like to join their efforts. I am going to order. Margaret Ellis Koostra
