Article VIII, Section 7, states, “A special meeting also shall be called by the President General upon the written request of thirty or more chapters in at least ten states. Not less than thirty days’ notice of a special meeting shall be given and only that business specified in the call may be transacted.”
The resolution for the call was published on November 7, 2025.
As of February 20, 2026, the National Bylaw requirement that thirty chapters in at least ten states request the call of a Special Meeting has been met! To date, 47 chapters in 24 different states have adopted the resolution for the call of a special meeting.
Members, please continue to present the Resolution to your chapters for adoption so that your chapter may be counted among those seeking Restoration of the DAR!
