The World and Everything In It Podcast

Thank you, Myrna Davis Brown for telling our story in such an informative way. The February 3, 2026 episode of The World and Everything In It features a story about members of the DAR exercising their member rights to take the historic, women’s only genealogical society back from trans-ideology.

My favorite part is when attorney Randall Wenger, Chief Counsel for the Independence Law Center validated what we have been saying all along… and what the now Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon said her legal memo provided by her nonprofit, The Center for American Libertywe are NOT in jeopardy of losing our tax exempt status over this issue!

Randall Wenger, Chief Counsel for the Independence Law Center said:

“An organization like the Daughters of the American Revolution is not at risk of losing tax-exempt status by refusing membership to men, even if those men identify as women.”

Ms. Brown reports that Mr. Wenger says that because the DAR was founded as a sex-separated organization, it has legal protections that allow it to limit membership accordingly. He says organizations that have lost tax-exemption took extreme positions on public policy.

“But women’s groups, especially those involved in expression on women’s issues are not contrary to public policy.”

The story starts at the 15-minute mark.
