In filing the 1023-EZ application, the entity was created in a manner that would allow for the kind of scale and expansion that many nonprofits experience. In large nonprofit organizations, the payment of reasonable compensation to employees of nonprofits, who could also be corporate officers, is expected and normal and highly regulated. Today, the entity does not pay salaries or compensation to anyone and takes the position that no reasonable compensation could be justified, nor desired, by any volunteers currently serving in officer roles. The organizing documents of the entity also reflect this fact.
